Beadmaster brings an end to an age old problem of poor finishes around sockets and switches . typically with drywall and dot and dab situations there are many inherent issues such as poor cutouts and closely fitted boxes . Often the electricIan’s will leave cables sticking out which hinder the plasterer . When a cut has been done badly it can be difficult to do a strong repair as the face has movements and the box often doesn’t which causes cracking . The beadmaster square/ rectangle reinstates any missing material and due to the fact that the bead is fitted to the board face it allows differential movement which eliminates cracking. The rear projection of the bead leaves a clean strong plastic edge . The centre section stops plaster entering the backbox and allows the plasterer to pass the trowel easily across the surface which creates a flatter finish than conventional methods and in situations where boxes are close together the bead creates strong flat sections between the sockets that previously were very difficult to achieve and without any real effort or extra skill .

the beadmaster range allows electricians to work in a new and more compliant way . The standard method of second fixing is floored in many ways after a conventional first fix the installation is left until plastering and sometimes decoration is completed , so the electricians come back at a time that’s very busy with other trades like carpenters / plumbers working in the same work area , if problems arise like damaged/ missing / transposed cables it often means a interruption to schedule and rework .
if the electrician returns between boarding and plastering there are no other trades in the workspace ,cables can be terminated onto wagos etc and the full set of dead tests can be carried out including full voltage insulation testing (which can be difficult these days) the beads are then fitted as safety covers that initialy provide ip4x and once plastered then achieves ip54 . As a build progresses and the builder wants to close doors etc it’s normally the upstairs bedrooms that finish first , beadmasters allow a installation to be made live without posing any danger elsewhere in the property etc as they are safely terminated and behind beadmaster cover plates .
With spotlights/ downlights etc most electrI Ian’s want to drill out before plastering so they can find and confirm their cables , but plasterers then have to work around a hole which can be difficult and potentially dangerous (muck falling) the Beadmaster circle gives the plasterer something to work to and eliminates the problem of falli

On completion / decoration the centre section can be removed and the cutout surround is no longer weak and dusty plasterboard it is reinforced with a plastic upstand which provides protection from flood damage and falling dust when maintenance work is carried out .
when fitting spotlights / downlights most electricians want to drill out before plastering to be able to verify their cables. This provides ip4x immediately and ip54 once plastered in and once the centre section is removed , the end result is a strengthened dust free edge .
the deep set bead is intended for use with 12mm or more coating such as hardwall / sand and cement/ lime / cob . These finishes more often than not are on blockwork / brickwork etc . like the standard beadmaster they stop plaster entering the backbox and provide electrical safety in the same way as the standard beadmaster .
